This satirical machine is designed for anyone who has ever been told to "read the room." Translating complex room dynamics into standardized readings is difficult, but the Room Reader is hear to help! With the satisfying turn of a crank, the top-mounted parabolic dish sweeps across the room, and a metal punch taps away at scrolling paper, providing a simple punch-card output ready to elucidate the room's readings. An enclosure largely comprised of adhesive-free acrylic panels allows easy changes to color accents, quick access for customization of the punch style, and a clear view of the Room Reader's mechanical components.
