There is no reason why eggs should be the only opulently-styled decorative shelf valuable. This acorn, with a base lacquered in a glossy deep rich brown, features a stunning cap delicately finished with gold wire. This acorn was created as a gift to my guidance counselor, it's form an ode to the logo of the College Board, an organization of which all guidance counselors are well acquainted with. A t-shirt was also decorated in the same theme, reading "Acorn Bureaucracy," a novel term to describe the woes of dealing with centralized educational organizations. The shirt can be stowed within the acorn, which hinges open upon removal of its bronze stem.
